SKYZ LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when you use our website, schedule a vehicle service, purchase or receive a replacement vehicle, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how we protect it, and the choices you may have regarding your information.

This Privacy Policy applies to customers and website visitors. It does not govern information we collect from job applicants, employees, or independent contractors, which is addressed separately.

By using our website or services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the services you request, we may collect the following categories of information.

A. Contact Information

We may collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Mailing address
  • Vehicle pickup and delivery address
  • Emergency or alternate contact information when necessary

B. Vehicle Information

To provide our services, we may collect information about your vehicle, including:

  • Vehicle make, model, year, and color
  • Vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • License plate number
  • Mileage
  • Vehicle condition
  • Maintenance and service history that you provide or authorize us to obtain
  • Photos or videos of the vehicle
  • Information regarding vehicle damage or pre-existing conditions

C. Service and Repair Information

When you authorize us to coordinate service for your vehicle, we may collect information concerning:

  • Your selected repair or service facility
  • Requested repairs or maintenance
  • Service estimates and invoices
  • Technician or repair-shop notes
  • Vehicle quality check information
  • Warranty information
  • Service recommendations
  • Communications between you, us, and the service provider

We may share necessary information with the repair facility you select so that the requested services can be performed.

D. Payment Information

When you make a purchase or payment, we may collect information necessary to process the transaction, such as:

  • Billing name
  • Billing address
  • Payment amount
  • Transaction date
  • Payment method
  • Limited payment-card information
  • Transaction and payment confirmation information

We may use third-party payment processors, including Square or GoDaddy Payments, to process payments.

When a third-party payment processor processes your payment, payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by that provider rather than being stored by us.

We do not intentionally store complete credit-card numbers, card security codes, or other payment credentials on our own systems when those payment functions are handled by a third-party payment processor.

The payment processor used for a particular transaction may collect, process, store, or otherwise handle payment and transaction information according to its own privacy notices, terms, security practices, and applicable law.

For more information about the privacy practices of the payment processor, you may review the applicable provider’s privacy notice.

E. Replacement or Rental Vehicle Information

If we provide you with a replacement or rental vehicle, we may collect information necessary to administer the rental, including:

  • Vehicle information
  • Rental dates and times
  • Rental agreement information
  • Insurance information
  • Payment information
  • Vehicle mileage and condition
  • Information concerning accidents, damage, violations, or incidents involving the rental vehicle

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide and administer the rental or replacement-vehicle service.

If damage, an accident, or another incident occurs to your vehicle while it is in our custody (for example, during pickup, transport, repair coordination, quality check, cleaning, or delivery), we may collect and share information about the incident with our business insurance carrier, the repair facility, and, where applicable, your insurance provider in order to resolve the matter.

F. Vehicle Access, Keys, and Connected-Vehicle Data

Because our services require us to take physical custody of your vehicle, we may also handle:

  • Vehicle keys, key fobs, or spare keys provided to us for pickup, service, and delivery
  • Garage, gate, or property access codes you provide so we can retrieve or return your vehicle
  • GPS location and route data generated while a vehicle is in our possession, if we use vehicle tracking, telematics, or dash-camera technology

We do not intentionally access, copy, or retain data stored in a vehicle’s infotainment system, navigation history, paired Bluetooth devices, synced contacts, or garage-door remote programming, and we recommend customers disconnect paired devices and clear saved locations before service where practical. If such information is unavoidably visible to our personnel in the course of providing the service, we will not use it for any purpose other than completing your service.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings.

6. Text Messages and Communications

If you provide your telephone number, we may use it to contact you regarding your appointment, vehicle pickup or delivery, repair status, rental vehicle, payment, or other service-related matters.

If you separately consent to receive promotional text messages, those messages may be subject to additional terms and opt-out instructions.

You can generally stop promotional text messages by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the message.

Stopping promotional communications will not necessarily stop important service-related communications that are necessary to complete your transaction.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

We use third-party payment processors to help protect payment information and reduce the need for us to directly store payment-card information.

Vehicle keys, key fobs, and any access codes provided to us are safeguarded during the service and are returned to you, deleted, or securely disposed of once no longer needed for the service.  [NEW]

However, no electronic transmission, website, database, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should not send highly sensitive information through unsecured email, text message, or other communication methods unless specifically requested by us through an appropriate secure process.
